Unable to install new plugin through admin

  • I’m getting error An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in ****/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 158 in Add plugins area. Please let me the solution.

  • I was having similar problems about a week and a half ago while running wp v4.4.2 and wound up needing to reinstall the core WP files to fix it.

    You can either do this manually or through the wp-admin on the updates page.
