    First off, attempt to install via WordPress plugin page kept giving an error (I had no trouble with other plugins). Upload via Awesome Support site’s zip did work.

    Second, the notification of tickets in incorrect. Right here it shows 2 Ticket notifications to me as admin. However, there is only 1 ticket and I have already viewed and replied that ticket (so assuming the notification should be 0 or if showing as long as it is open status, could never be more than 1).

    Could you please try to go to Tools > Cleanup and clear the Agents Metas.

    Is cleaning up the meta agents something that must be done regularly – or which trigger would there be?

    No you shouldn’t have to do it, but we are aware of some synchronization issues in some cases, which is why this cleanup tool is available. Those sync bugs will be taken care of.
