When I try to install demo content using ThemeEgg ToolKit, I get the message: Error: Bad Gateway (502). Used, the newly installed official WordPress 4.8.3-ru_RU, the theme of Eggnews 1.3.6. Plugins installed and activated: Contact Form 7 4.9.1; Social Icons Lite 1.0.1; ThemeEgg ToolKit 1.1.0. How can this problem be solved?

Unfortunately, the problem remains unresolved. Updated WordPress, theme and plug-ins to the latest versions. The Bad Gateway (502) error has stopped showing. The process of importing demo data starts, which hangs without completion. I waited about one hour – the process of importing and was not completed. In the archive, several images were found, a log file with error report and an xml file, apparently with the content of the demo data.

I tried to import from an xml file, which was imported into media files, alas, only texts of notes, articles and rubrics were transferred. There are no images in the transferred materials. Also, the appearance of the main page and the sidebar has not been adjusted. After that, when I try to import the demo again, I get the Bad Gateway Error (502) Bad Gateway Error (502). I will try to roll back the site from the Backup and re-import the demos via the plug-in.

Maybe the problem is with the PHP version or other hosting settings? What version of PHP is required for half-way work?

    Thread Starter crimeafrend

    (@crimeafrend)

Curl on the server is installed and running. Specify, please, what version is necessary for correct operation of the plug-in? And which version of PHP is better to use? After restoring the site from Backup, I have the same problem when trying to import. I reinstalled WordPress 4.9, removed and re-installed the theme 1.3.7. Now, when I import, I get Error: Internal Server Error (500).

Link to the site https://alushta.pp.ua If necessary, can I give access to the administrative part of the site?

Completely deleted the entire site from the server. Then reinstalled WordPress 4.9, theme 1.3.7, the recommended plug-ins of the latest versions. At the end of the installation of the plugins I receive the following message: Warning: sprintf (): Too few arguments in /home/host1411530/alushta.pp.ua/htdocs/www/wp-admin/includes/class-bulk-upgrader-skin.php on line 150 When I try to import the demo data, I still get an error: Error: Internal Server Error (500). Curl on the server is installed and running. The current version of PHP version is 7.1, but I tried unsuccessfully to import it in PHP 5.6, 7.0. The hosting administrator on my server has disabled all filters and removed all restrictions. But errors 502 and 500 occur when you try to import permanently. If you specify your email for communication, I can give access to the administrative part of the site.

I created a new user with Administrator rights and provided a login and password for [email protected]. The only moment. Now the administrator of my hosting has also requested access to the administrative part of the site. He also wants to understand the problem. So keep that in mind.

I managed to successfully import the demo under PHP 5.4. This is just defined by the administrator of my server, so I did not have time to report.
