Unable to install any plugin/theme on the latest trunk

    Arf, Arf, Arf,

    Do to my own stubbornness, I left my Live install of WordPress in the Alpha Mode and currently cannot upload Plugins to my installation from my laptop.

    I see that this has been corrected by Core Developers within the past hour, and I would like to have the option of INSTANTLY, or HOURLY updating my installation instead of waiting 12 hours for that fix.

    Is that possible, without going backwards to a previous stable installation (too much work)??

    When this happens to me, I use SVN to checkout a version of trunk and then copy the files over, minus the .svn files of course ??
