Unable to install

  • Hello!

    I am unable to install WordPress. I have re-downloaded it several times and tried several ftp programs. I’m not sure where the problem is but it seems that the files get corrupted when I upload them to my FTP or download them from your servers. I can upload the files from another computer and they work perfectly.

    I chatted with my host support yesterday and they were also able to install wordpress.

    Its just WordPress than I’m having problems with.

    Any clues?

  • are you uploading the files in ascii mode?

    I agree with Sam. Either that or you’re connection is causing problems or stalling/timing out too much. You can attempt to upload 1 folder at a time then upload all the root files at once.

    But mostly, I agree with sam.

    I have tried with both ascii and binary. I’ve had problems with my connection for some time now, might be the problem. Thanks guys.

    Same computer, new connection. Still get the same error.
