    Hi @srmahmud2,

The error you’re seeing typically indicates a connection issue between your site and Jetpack’s servers. I checked your site and confirm that the site is indeed not connected. Please folow the guide linked below to do a completely reinstall and reconnect of Jepack:

    https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/

Let us know how this goes so we can assist further.

Hi Alin, Thank you for your reply. Well first of since my site wasn’t connected, the disconnection steps do’nt apply in my case. But I deactivated, deleted, and reinstalled and activated and then tried to connect again.

At the same time I have installed Jetpack Boos in another site. in the same hosting and environment, that worked just normal. But not this one. Again the same problem with same message “Unable to insert blog. Please.. “

    Hi @srmahmud2

Is your WordPress directory in the root, or is it in a separate folder?

Normally we would see the XMLRPC file here if WordPress was in the root:

    https://thebrunchandbites.com/xmlrpc.php

If WordPress is in its own directory, it would like this

    https://thebrunchandbites.com/DIRECTORYNAME/xmlrpc.php

Knowing where the XMLRPC file is located is critical to how Jetpack connects, so when we know where that is, we can tweak things on this end so you should then be able to connect.

Hi @bruceallen, Thank you for your reply. Sorry, My bad! Forget to mention it. I hav already seen one of this answer, tested mine. Yes my wordpress is in it’s own diretory like you mentioned. And if I browse it, it says: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only. So it seems okay. as well as in my other domians, beinng in dieffrent folder, didn’t have any issue.

@srmahmud2 – What’s the name of the directory? We can adjust a setting on this end so that Jetpack can connect.

Hi @bruceallen thank you very much for your effort. Here’s the actual url: https://thebrunchandbites.com/bb/xmlrpc.php

    Hello @srmahmud2,

Thanks for sharing that directory link.

I have update our records to point your site URL to the alternate directory thebrunchandbites.com/bb.

Please make sure to disconnect and connect Jetpack again and see if these changes take effect.

Let us know how that goes!

    Hi there @srmahmud2,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hi there, @erania-pinnera . Thank you very much for your enquiry. I was waiting for the results and checking for any issues they might create. I was having a different issue, which wasn’t related to what we initially thought. Therefore, I took some time to understand it.

It seems that after disabling Mod Security in LiteSpeed hosting, the site is working fine. However, it was frequently displaying a Status 403, Access Forbidden error. I am still not sure why that was happening. By any chance, does Jetpack Boost have anything to do with Mod Security? My hosting provider advised me to disable this plugin and some others. Finally, it’s working after we disabled Mod Security.

There was an issue with displaying an image guide on the front page on the first day, but it’s working okay now.

Thanks, and the “Unable to Insert Blog” issue is solved. Finally, it’s connected.

    Hi @srmahmud2,

Thanks for sharing an update! Mod Security is a server-side web application firewall and the 403 errors you noticed were related to it, since it prevents some resources from being accessed (for security purposes obviously).

I can confirm that everything is good now, and that Jetpack Boost is working correctly ??

Let us know if anything else is missing.
