    Tried reconnecting to Jetpack after a failed attempt of moving my website to another hosting provider.

    Now it doesn’t connect, API debug log is giving the reason: Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support

    xmlrpc is in /wordpress folder

    Hi @marnoldussen

    I’ve made the adjustment on our end.

    For Jetpack to work, we need a working connection between your site and WordPress.com.

    Please delete Jetpack and then reinstall it to cycle the connection. You can follow these steps to do that:

    1. Start at PluginsInstalled Plugins.
    2. If Jetpack is currently active, click Deactivate to disable it. Then click Delete to remove it from your site:
    3. Go to Plugins  → Add New.
    4. Search for “Jetpack – WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth”.
    5. Click Install and then Activate.

    When Jetpack is installed, click the green Set up Jetpack button to reconnect.

    You shouldn’t lose any settings or any of your stats or subscribers in doing so, as that info is stored in our system here.

    I did the reinstall but it still doesn’t work.

    I am shown that the site URL is https://nieuwewijnen.nl/wordpress/ and the site address is https://nieuwewijnen.nl. Before proceeding and investigating this further, can you please confirm if this is intended?

    Hi there,

    I’m having issues connected to jetpack. This is on a development server with a custom theme. The URL is https://52.45.61.158 and the xlmrpc file is located in the /wordpress directory.

    Ultimately, I’m trying to install woo payments but i get the following error when trying to finish setup:

    There was a problem connecting this site to WordPress.com: “Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support.”

    Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!
