Unable to insert any media file into webstories

    This is the message I get When I open Web story editor “We detected a potential misconfiguration that prevents media items from loading correctly. This may be due to media being hosted on an external CDN. Learn how to address this or submit a new support topic for additional help.”
    I couldn’t place any media on the editor page. What should I do.

  • Hi @sankar07 thanks for getting in touch. The most common cause for seeing this message in the editor is when there is a CORS error. Please could you follow our guide on this to confirm if this is being caused by the use of a CDN and is a CORS issue. If so then please continue to follow the guide for further help on how to resolve this.

    If this is not being caused by a CDN then please let me know and we can investigate further.
