Unable to index posts or pages

    Hey everyone!

    I’m unable to index posts or pages. When I Google search a product (that’s described within a post or page), it indexes the homepage only.

    What do I need to work with? Robots or XML sitemap? I’m fairly new to this. Your help would be much appreciated!

  • Hi Jess,

    Have you checked that posts and pages are saved to ‘index’ under Post Types in Titles & Metas?

    If they are then it’s probably just a case of waiting a while before those posts and pages are indexed by Google. Your homepage will rank higher since it (probably) has more inbound and outbound links, so if the product is mentioned on your homepage it will show this result first.
