Hello folks, this is Nance again. Sorry have been busy so haven’t been active. Am creating a new site for the client. The site in question is https://westernautothailand.org.

When I try to export an XML file from client’s site to act as a base, it uploads up to 99% but then gives the following errors.

I’m getting the:Sorry, there has been an error.
File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

I have increased memory_limit and upload_max_filesize but still no luck. I had imported this same document to another site without a problem so this is clearly not empty. Any help will be appreciated

    Hello @nancedelia,

If you can import that file to another hosting it should be about server problem. You should contact with hosting provider.

Dear codeontheroad the other site is with the same hosting provider so would love some hints on what else I could try to get the XML file in. Since it is getting to 99$ it just needs a little push.

Guys good news, kept changing setting and finally maxing out post_max_size and lowering upload_max_filesize to the same siez as post max size did the trick. As I indicated it was conking out at 99% so just needed a slight push.

What do you use to import ?
