Unable to import all posts from WordPress.com site

I am trying to import all the content from my WordPress.Com site to a www.remarpro.com using in built import export tools in the WordPress.
I could successfully export the data from WordPress.com site. Its a 920 KB xml file. I have 35 published posts and 7 drafts in my existing .com site.However after import only 3 posts are being imported successfully with some of the media files. I could notice, taxonomies, tags, catgories are being imported correctly as well but not all the post nor the media.
