Unable to import albums from public page

Can you provide me with the FB business page URL, so I can try to recreate the issue? Also, are you having issue with just that page or other pages as well?

Apparently this is something facing a lot of applications using the Facebook Graph API after all the recent controversy.

Yes, this affects all public pages. Personal photos can still be imported, but public pages cannot until Facebook decides what they are going to do.

Hi all, unfortunately there is not much I can do about this without rewriting most of the plugin which I really don’t have time to do. And I’m actually really tired of Facebook changing things with no regard for backwards compatibility (which means, every time they change something, I have to hurry up and change things in the plugin to make it work again).

Facebook has been cracking down more and more over the years on how you can access their Open Graph API. When I first wrote this plugin 4 years ago, it was dead easy (you didn’t even need to create a FB App!). Now with recent events and Facebook under fire, they’ve locked it down even more. So now it appears you need an SSL certificate (HTTPS, which honestly, you really should have anyway now that you can easily get free ones) and the “Access to this data…” error, which I see intermittently.

If I stop replying to this thread, please do not take offense: there is just not much I can do for you immediately to resolve the issues you are facing.
