Unable to get past Step 4 of 7 on Dashboard

    Hello,

    This issue has been present ever since installing WooCommerce, but has never been resolved. The store works, but it really annoys me that this box is still on the dashboard stating:

    ‘You’re almost there. Once you complete store setup you can start receiving orders.’

    This is false, as I can already receive store orders, and I have no way of completing store set up. Because when I click ‘Start selling’, it then takes me to a blank page with the console error:

    GET https://nirvanalight.com/wp-json/wc-admin/onboarding/tasks?_locale=user 500

    When I try to view that URL in a new tab, I see the following message:

    It seems I am completely stuck in this part of the ‘Store setup’ and cannot proceed any further.

    I understand that you are unable to start selling on your site due to the onboarding tasks notifications on your store.

    I’d like to understand your site properly, can you please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

    You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Hi there,

    So I deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce, and went back to the ‘Start selling’ button, which did show up the step 4, which is enabling a payment provider.

    However, I don’t need to do any of these steps (it is trying to force me to set up WooCommerce payments). There is no option to Skip, or ignore this step.

    And now I’m stuck because I went to install WooCommerce payments just to get past this step, but it’s now stuck in a loop because it’s telling me I need to log in to WordPress.com.

    There is no option to skip any of these steps, you are forcing people to set up WooCommerce Payments.

    Please advise how I can remove the wizard, or tell WooCommerce that this is all completed?

    The only thing I can do to actually fix this, is to hide the panel from displaying on the Dashboard, but this is not fixing the issue.

    You need to provide a way to skip steps.

    It’s just awful (the wizard).

    For some reason I’m stuck with WooCommerce Payments still showing up even after I’ve disabled the plugin. I went through shipping (this doesn’t apply), and even after completing this, it’s still showing up as an undone step.

    So how can I just mark all of these remaining items as skipped or done?

    If I understand you correctly, you want to skip the WooCOmmerce setup wizard.
