You’ve set “uploads/client/”, but it’s a directory path. It must be a file path pointing to an existing file, like “uploads/client/abc.jpg”.

Oh, the file needs to exist? That may be the issue, I have tried it with a filename, but I don’t think the file already existed on the server. I’ll give that a shot.

Will the filenames be dynamically generated when setting a specific file like this?

Ok just tried what you suggested – I uploaded a file “upload.jpg” into uploads/client/ and I also added the specific filename in the filepath under the file attachments field. Still nothing, no errors in the error log. It looks like the only thing this did, is include both the uploaded file and the file I pointed to on the server in the email that was sent.

Actually I’m trying to get a file uploaded thru a contact form and then have it upload to my “wp-content/uploads/client” folder. Currently, the file gets uploaded and emailed to me, but the file doesn’t get saved on the server.

Yes, Contact Form 7 removes it for security reasons.

How can I get the file saved on the server?

If you want to make a huge security hole, edit the plugin’s code.
