Unable to get fonts to work in visual editor

  • Hello! I really like the simplicity and the interface design for Fonto but I’m having a bit of problem getting it to work correctly Google Fonts service.

    I am able to get a test font (Monton) setup and the Monton font name shows up in the visual editor… but the text does not change to the new font. ?!?

    Here is how I set it up…
    Font Name = Monton
    Source = Web Font Service
    Embed Code = <link href=”https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato&#8221; rel=”stylesheet”>
    Variations = I’ve tried both ‘grouped together’ and ‘referenced individually’ with the same results.
    Font Family Name = Monton

    After I update the font, the option to ‘View Font’ at the top of the page results in a page not found. The ‘Learn More’ link in the embed code section does not give any instructions btw. I’m also using the SiteOrigin Vantage theme.

    Is there something glaring that I’m missing that is preventing the text in the visual editor from updating with the new fonts when selected in the drop down?
