I’m unable to get captions to show up under images. The description field is filled out for every image. That should be the caption. Correct?

I tried going into Gallery Settings / NextGEN Basic Thumbnails and selecting the Legacy Gallery Caption template (which is not recommended). This added the captions, but it was no longer responsive.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I also just discovered that on Edge and Firefox, there is just 1 column of images. I have it set up for a 4×4 grid. It shows up properly for me on Chrome, but for another person it’s showing up wrong on Chrome.

@topcat – A quick check with Safari, Firefox, and Chrome show the display looking fine although without captions which you do not appear to be using currently…

Using the “captions” template is the easiest way to get captions under the images although you could also create a custom template based on the NextGEN Gallery Basic Thumbnail display type versus the NextGEN Legacy caption template we bundle as a backward-compatible convenience.

    Thanks!
