Unable to FTP to server

    I am running Fedora 23 server with Apache in the default locations. I have installed proftp and disabled the chroot option. I can ftp to my server from remote computers but WordPress keeps saying it can’t connect.

      Update

    Ok I can ftp to the server but I can’t list any files or directories??

    I need to do the updates before I continue but since I have no ftp access it is not possible.
