Unable to find Plug-Ins menu

  • I just started using WordPress a few days ago. Tonight, I decided to download some Plug-Ins for the site, but I am unable to find the Plug-Ins menu on My Dashboard.

    I follow the instructions on where to download the file to, but when I do so, I see no option/menu for my Plug-Ins.

    I’m pretty sure this isn’t explained very well, but I’d appreciate some help.

  • I think you may be in the wrong place – the site linked from your profile appears to be hosted at wordpress.com. These forums are for the self-hosted WordPress software.

    As far as I know, you won’t be able to install plugins on your current blog, but I’d refer to the forums at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/ to be sure.
