    Theme: Neve Theme
    Browser: Google Chrome

When I change the Primary Menu Typography in the Header, it changes from my viewpoint, but when I visit my website, it remains unchanged.
    For example:
    – PT Sans turns into \”PT Sans\”
    – When checking the typography with the WhatFont? Chrome Extension, it says the Family is: “\”PT Sans\””; serif

I want to maintain the typography change to PT Sans. How do I solve this?

  • Hi @jmtheman!

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

There is indeed an issue we are already aware of regarding fonts applied to the primary menu. They appear in Customizer view, but after publishing they revert to the default one. Our developers are working on a fix and hopefully this will be solved in the next update of the theme. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

    Have a nice day!

Oh alright, I’ll wait for the update to the theme then.

    Thanks for responding!

Came to say I had the same problem with OP but with greater severity. After succesfully changing typography in the “Customize” option from my view, my Menu got fallen-back to serif.

What’s worse, I came back to the menu and I found out that I couldn’t even choose the font.

Please kindly see my screenshot here to better understand my situation.

    Hi @samurai3005!

The disappearing of the typography options could to be caused by a plugin conflict. Please try to backup your site, deactivate all plugins, then reactivate them one by one so you will be able to check which one could cause this and replace it with an alternative plugin.

Let us know how this worked!

    Have a great day!

I tried again a few hours after my last comment and I was able to see the font options. However, the same problem happened to @jmtheman happened to me again. My site primary menu is being reverted to fallen back fonts which look horrible. Really hope you guys could come up with a new patch as soon as possible.

    Hello @samurai3005!

I’m glad to hear that the Customizer works properly now. Regarding the issue with the font of the primary menu, our developers are currently trying to solve it.

    Have a great day!
