Unable to edit the text on WP Maintenance Mode

    Hello. I installed your plugin and it seemed to work fine, and it appears when people attempt to view the page. However I need to edit the text and can’t find a way to do so. I’ve followed your most recent tutorial on this but I get a different display when in ‘Design/Edit Page’ mode. I’ve linked to that page. I get a large graphic with incorrect colours but no way to edit the text that I can find. There is an ‘Otter’ icon on the top right but that doesn’t seem to offer the text editing option either. I’d like to send you screen grabs but can’t do so here. I’m a complete newbie to website design and this site was made using a template from Quode Interactive and is really just a test site. However, I am computer literate so I hope you can help me access the text in your WP Maintenance Mode page for editing. Thanks!

    Hey @esmonde,

    Thanks for using WP Maintenance Mode and Coming Soon Plugin.

    I have tried replicating this issue on a clean instance and the plugin is working fine for me, I am able to edit almost all of the content of the Maintenance page, see here.

    So, could you please provide some screenshots or a screencast video (just like mine) so that we can have a close look?
