    I’m unable to edit any posts or pages within my WordPress blog that already exist. I just get a blank white square when I click on “Edit” under both the visual and text editor.

    I cannot share my URL since it’s locally installed in a secure server at work, and you will not be able to access it outside my network.

    So far I’ve tried:

    * Disabling all plugins (deleting them as well)
    * Going back to TwentyFourteen
    * Adding define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); to my wp-config.php

    Nothing works so far. I don’t really mind copying and pasting what I have in the post and then editing, but the Edit button really should work on existing posts.

    I’ve installed the Frontier theme btw, but it’s the same in all themes. I jumped from version 3.1 to 3.9 around a week ago.

    Any ideas?

  • Try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Why are you using an old copy of WordPress? Were you aware that your site is currently running a very real risk of being hacked? You need to upgrade WordPress asap.

    I have the same problem: I cannot anymore post anything, the “post” button disappeared and the “save draft” doesn’t save anything.
    Disabling all plugins doesn’t work
    I update to 3.9.1 one week ago (but after that it worked)

    Please help me

    Hi, esmi.

    I was on 3.1, but I changed to 3.9. The issue was my company’s server, that’s why we took so long to upgrade.

    I’ll try the resetting of the plugin folder and let you know ??
