    Hi,

I had made the some changes and the site was working fine. But a few days back I found the page reverting to the old version. Then I made the changes again and it was showing the correct one. But then again after a few minutes again it reverted to the original one. The changes are –
    1. Removing radio buttons and options on the registration page
    2. Making the store name as a link to the store in the vendor tab
    3. Removing customer email address and phone number from the vendor slip

Please note – I already know how it is done. I got to know it here itself. But all the changes are being undone. Changes are made via FTP.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @vasudevb ,

Are you making the changes directly on the plugin files?

You have to save your modified file under your child theme. If you only modify only in the plugin files then each change will be removed on plugin update.

Here is how to override templates – https://wpdoctor.press/overriding-dokan-plugin-template-easy/

If you are already doing this but still the changes are gone then I will suggest to discuss with the hosting provider how the files are getting changed automatically.

    Thank you ??

Thanks. It has been working so far. I had the child theme made but did not make a new folder. Does this have to be done with all files(non-dokan) which have been changed? Or making changes in the child theme is enough?

    Thank you once more

    Hello @vasudevb ,

You only need a /dokan/ folder under your child theme if you are overriding a dokan template. For other plugins, they can have different folder structures and you need to get the confirmed information from them.

    Thank you ??
