• Hi,

I’m getting the following errors when trying to edit or create a post:

“TypeError: this. $element.sticky is not a function. (In ‘this. $element.sticky(this.currentConfig)’, ‘this.$element.sticky’ is undefined) – frontend.min.js:2:19301”

“Unhandled Promise Rejection: TypeError: this. Selement.sticky is not a function. (In ‘this.$element.sticky(this.currentConfig)’, “this. $element.sticky’ is undefined)”

“A Google Maps JavaScript API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys”

It seems to be a specific plugin designed for posts etc that seems to be the cause, for when I deactivate the plugin the errors go away and I can edit. However, these errors have only appeared in the last two weeks, and I have had the plugin for nearly a year. The plugin has no problem with pages and templates, just posts. There has been no updates, or changes, so I don’t know why this error is appearing.

I have contacted the plugin, as I need to specifically use them, but 15 emails in and they just keep saying it should work and don’t know why it won’t. I don’t want to name and shame the plugin, as that would be wrong.

I could really, really do with some help, I’m trying to launch a not-for-profit and cannot afford to pay a developer to investigate why, and the plugin are at an end on what to do.

    The site hasn’t yet launched

    Hi @sterndata

Thank you for your messages, as mentioned I don’t want to name and shame the plugin, for though its now been 16 messages and counting, it could be that I’ve just had bad luck in who is replying in helping, and sadly they have hit a dead end, and so I’m hoping to work out the problem myself.

I discovered the error messages on the console when trying to load a post, but I don’t have enough technical expertise to understand what this means so that I can search on how to fix it, or what’s causing it to stop it.

    Thank you for helping
