Unable to edit my website

We got a third party web company to design our website a few years ago. Today i went on to the website because we want to start from scratch and completely re-do the whole website. I’ve made websites in the past so straight away i noticed that i have far less abilities to edit than normal. Anyone know how i can fix this at all?
