Unable to edit homepage due to KB error

On attempting to load my homepage I get the following error: “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” This is followed by 3 blocks – 1. Attempt recovery (this does not work), 2. Copy Post Text & 3. Copy Error.
All options just leave me with a blank page.
Just before getting the above error message, I get a ‘flash’ of the page showing Kadence blocks with the following message: Your site doesn’t include support for the kadence/advancedheading block.
This message only appears for about 1/2 a second before disappearing and showing the 1st error msg. mentioned earlier (“The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” Etc.)
I’ve tried disabling the Advanced Heading block in Kadence settings and also tried deactivating the whole plugin, as well as clearing the cache but to no avail.
Other pages seem to open fine, just my homepage causing the issue.
