unable to edit home page – shows nothing found on page

  • I created a homew page and a blog info page. I decided to rewrite the home page but now I see a message Nothing found. I am unable to add content to that page as there is no edit option
    I’ve tried adding a new page but I get to “Home” in the menu bar. I go to the menu bar option to edit the bar. You can’t do this. How do I recreate a new home page or delete one of the 2 “home” in the menu bar?

    I have created a new menu by deleting the home page option. However whilst the home page doesn’t show up in the menu bar i still see WP’s nothing found page which can’t be edited.
    I just want the about the author page to be the home page. WP doesn’t allow you to edit their nothing found page. Does that mean that i will have to recreate my blog?
    How can I get the about author page to show as the Home page.
