Unable to edit home page

  • Hi there! I was happy to discover the Beaver Builder after a few hiccups with other builder tools but here I find myself unable to edit my homepage (which I built with Beaver Builder). I use the Genesis Framework with the simplest version child theme provided by Studio Press. I have made a few changes to the site (mostly css) and added a plugin or two since I last worked on the home page, updated some plugins and usual stuff like that.

    I wanted to buy the premium version of the BB tool but now… I’m not so sure anymore, your help in resolving this issue will determine if I continue using your tool.

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    What happens when you try to edit the page using our builder? Do you receive an error? Does the page builder interface come up but not respond? Or is the page builder option missing on the admin bar?

    Also, do you think you can share the URL Of the site you’re working on so we can check? ??

    Hello Ben,

    I’m having a similar issue. When I’m on my contact, terms of use or about pages I can select page builder and edit page. When I’m on the home page those two options go away.

    Hey there,

    Can you check under Settings > Reading and see what your homepage is set to display? If it’s set to display your latest posts, our page builder doesn’t work there, or on any other archive pages, as those are generated dynamically by WP.

    If it’s set to display a static page and it’s still not working, feel free to share the URL of the site in question so we can check. ??

    Hi @hinampaksh I’m having the same problem but my front page is set to display as a static page. I can use the builder on every other page just not my home page. The button is there on my homepage but when I click it the page is blank. My URL is https://www.completeberk.com

    I can not edit my wordpress Home Page… I can’t include a URL because im creating it under test.blah…..

    my page is set to static. Can you assist?
