Unable to edit CSS using appearance theme editor

    On one of my blogs, no matter which theme I activate, when I go to the editor to tweak the css instead of seeing the css I see the following:

    vti_encoding:SR|utf8-nl
    vti_timelastmodified:TR|02 Feb 2009 15:32:17 -0000
    vti_extenderversion:SR|5.0.2.4803
    vti_cacheddtm:TX|02 Feb 2009 15:32:17 -0000
    vti_filesize:IR|1816
    vti_backlinkinfo:VX|

    on everything. Header, footer, main page, single post, etc. The only thing that changes is the file size and cached and modified dates/times
