• I have a problem that’s making me crazy. Therefore – I suspect – the cause is something basic that I am missing.

    Please look at AISVG.COM. I’m using WIN7 and the Chrome browser.

    Note the green (#038618) navigation bar. Note that it has no visible menu.

    Now hover over it. The menu items are revealed as #FFFFFF.

    Nothing I do in style.css is causing the menu to be #FFFFFF in its non-hover state.

    I even took the radical step of changing every instance of #038618 in style.css to #FFFFFF. But that is not affecting the display.

    What u=is further confusing me – and this may reveal the cause of this problem – when I use “Inspect Element” I can confirm that the chenge is posoble – adn I note the line in style.css that controls this. But when I open the syle.css in my editor (alleycode) it is on a totally different line number.

    I have cleared cache repeatedly. I have opened it in another browser

    THEME COFFEE MONKEY

    What appears to be causing the white text looks to be in line 215 of style.css

    That line begins with:

    #nav li a, #nav li a:link, #nav li a:visited {

    Though, currently I am not seeing the background color as #038618, it is showing as #fff ( white ). That styling comes from line 184.

    Hope that helps you out a little more.
