• Screen is blank when trying to Edit a page. Added Health Check Plugin. Deactivated all plugins. Could edit a page. Activated plugins one at a time, testing ‘editing a page’ each time and was able to edit a page until ‘Classic Editor’ plugin was activated. Once plugin activated, could not edit page. The page was blank. If you double clicked on the blank page, the words would show highlighted but you could not do anything. Clicking again and the words disappeared. Deactivated Classic Editor plugin and could edit a page. Any ideas as to why the ‘Classic Editor’ plugin is causing this or is there some other issue?

  • Hello,

I have the same problem, but with extension WP Globus and classic editor..

If WP Globus 2.2.16 and WP Editor 1.5 are actived, I have this message when I try to edit a post or page : “Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this item.”
If WP Globus 2.2.2 and WP Editor 1.5 are actived, I can edit post or page.
If WP Globus 2.2.16 is actived and WP Editor 1.5 is desactived, I can edit post or page.
The error appears in the file debug.log : “[11-Oct-2019 10:16:03 UTC] PHP Warning: Use of undefined constant SECURE_AUTH_COOKIE – assumed ‘SECURE_AUTH_COOKIE’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP) in /var/www/website/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 773”.

I have no problem to create new post or page.
The WordPress version is 5.2.3. All plugins are updated.

    I need your help, please.
    Damien
