• I’m sorry if this is the wrong place: New to website building and WP platform – taking over to assist website stuff for my roller derby league & I was trying to edit our about-us page, the top flex column.

When I click the edit icon on the column, a pop-up with a spinning loading circle shows up. Myself and everyone who has an account and has attempted to make this change gets this loading pop-up forever.

Would this be caused by my version of WordPress? I’m trying to edit via browser.

I tried to do this edit in the following browsers: Chrome, Chrome Canary, IE, Edge, and Firefox & got the same error in devtools:

Uncaught ReferenceError: action is not defined
        at ajax_shortcode_widget_element (cs_functions.js?ver=5.3.6:850)
        at HTMLAnchorElement.onclick (post.php?post=431&action=edit:528)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Click on the “Dashboard” from within the Admin Console (top left corner) and under it is a link to “Updates”.

Click that link and see if there are any updates waiting to be installed?

The code could be way out of date, causing the delays in your scripts.

just delete line number 850 in file cs_functions.js and it’s solved.
