Unable to drag widgets to right sidebar

I’m using twenty-eleven child theme and I’m unable to drag my widgets to the right sidebar. I deactivated all the plug-ins one by one (to see if there was a malfunctioning one) but that didn’t help. Also while doing this I lost all my images in the sidebar even after I reactivated the insert image widget plugin. Any help would be most appreciated.
