Unable to download image to server, please check your server permissions…

@gnfb How many different server environments have you tried this on? I haven’t had any support requests about it not working in quite a while.

I installed it on a std wordpress setup and the hosting i use is standard sharing at hostgator nothin fancy. dont worry to much it wasnt a game breaker for me. just would have been helpful

I’ve got the same issue. Write permissions like fine. The directory was created okay but the plugin can’t write to it.

Meanwhile, Media Add works just as fine as ever.

Weird. Works on one other site on the server elsewhere.

A new version on Instant Images is coming later this week that uses the media uploader class to upload the files so hopefully this will resolve the permissions issues with my custom implementation.

Sounds great. I installed the plugin 48 hours ago on a new site on the same server and it’s working perfectly.
