    Hi @nesoor,
Can you check to make sure /wp-content/uploads/instant-images/ has at least 755 permissions set?

Also, is your using http authentication at all?

    Cheers,

    Hey Dcooney,

Thanks for your quick reply and support !
    The folders permission are 755.

I am not sure what you meant with http authentication.
My website begins with https://www. is that what you mean ?

    Ok, thanks.

I am not sure what you meant with http authentication.

I meant did you have a user/pass on the domain (like you may if it was in development).

Unfortunately, this issue seems to come up for a small percentage of users and I haven’t been able to figure this out as it appears to be server related.

I’m about to start working on a new version that switches from using the WP REST API to admin-ajax so hopefully this will solve the issue.

    Hey Dcooney,

I developed the website directly on the original domain.
I can give you access to the website, ftp and directadmin if you would like.
Or i’ll just wait for the new plugin ?

The plugin is free and yet your support is great so I appreciate your work ! ??

I just pushed a new version (3.1.1) of Instant Images that uses a different upload function.
Hopefully this works better for you.

    Hey Dcooney,

For me the fix didn’t work.
Some sites link me to the Unsplash site instead of downloading the photo and other websites Have this server error.

I totally forgot to sent you the login details.
I will sent them to you now !

    Thank you.
Your issue is something is blocking access to the WP REST API as the error is 403 Forbidden Access.

It might be All in One security but I couldn’t tell. Any idea?
Instant Images requires access to /wp-json/instant-images/upload/ to upload images.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

i should solved by webhosting provider. i was refer this case to my webhosting… because i also have a same problem. and i was attached your case as guide.. then, the webhoster solved for me. thanks. ??

Same problem here. Also I can’t find /wp-json/instant-images/upload directory. I can find the /upload/instant-images directory, and it has proper permissions.

@rbacal It could be a few issues but first, What is the max upload size for your Media Library?

Thanks for the response. The max upload size = 64M.

Odd because the Pixabay plugin works like a charm.

I just updated the FAQ yesterday about possible reasons.
    https://connekthq.com/plugins/instant-images/#8

Again, thanks. But no joy. Permissions are set to 755, and it’s not the upload size limit. If the REST api is blocked, I’m not sure, since I don’t know where to look. I am wondering if the problem might have to do with the theme I’m using.

Oddly enough, when I try to download via the plugin, I DO get 0 byte size files appearing in the instant-images directory.
