Did you try this one in particular:

– deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).

I finally solved the problem, it was with a plugin I installed

Sorry, that was a mistake @anevins,

I uninstalled all plugin by renaming it, still, it persists. Clicking anything on the dashboard leads to my website main page

How strange, can you keep all plugins deactivated and then switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme? This will explore whether it’s an issue with your theme.

Finally, I removed all the plugins and the theme. Now I have total control over the dashboard.
