@slickremix Hey Spencer, thanks for the tip. It doesn’t seem as though you can assign permissions to a user access token by doing it that way though unfortunately. It looks like it’s just created with the default user_friends and public_profile permissions and I couldn’t find a simple way to add more. For many of the purposes we use those tokens for we need additional permissions.

I just retested a couple of groups with pinned posts and it appears as though this bug might be resolved now. Are you seeing the same?

    Hey John,
It’s Justin (Spencer’s brother and the other developer of FTS) I just re-tested the pinned post issue and it appears Facebook has indeed fixed it! It funny because I was on Facebook the other day and all of the sudden the Facebook Groups weren’t accessible at all and I message Spencer and said “Hey, I think they are fixing the issue with the groups!” then maybe 10 minutes later I was able to access them again.” pretty funny I thought.

Anyways thanks for letting us know to check!

    Cheers,
    Justin

    Hey Justin,

Awesome, glad to hear it’s working on your end too. It only took them 3 weeks, that might be a Facebook record!

    Have a good weekend!

    John
