Unable to Disable Jetpack Search

    I am unable to disable Jetpack Search, as whenever I attempt to do so, I get this: “Error updating settings. search: The requested Jetpack module could not be deactivated. (Status 400).”

    I need to disable this feature in order for our hosting provider’s own search features to be enabled. Could also be causing some conflicts in the backend as a result, too.

    When this happens it’s usually because another plugin is filtering Jetpack’s settings. Try deactivating other plugins and see if that allows you to disable Search. You can also try disabling it via the All Modules page.
