Unable to Delete Unused Plugins & Others

  • Hello,

    One at a time:

    1) I cannot delete unused plugins – It says “Deletion Failed”

    2) I am unable to attach pictures to pages (the picture says it is attached to the page, but you don’t see it when it is there). There is no shortcode there.

    3) If I am updating a page, and go to my media, it just keeps loading, but nothing is there.

    If I detactivate all my plugins, all still fails or doesn’t work correctly still.

    This can be due to some theme/plugin conflict, try to activate some default theme like twenty seventeen and see if it makes any difference.

    try to delete unused plugin via FTP or hosting file manager in site/wp-content/plugins

    Thanks for all the help! @kartiks16, I went and manually updated and installed (it wouldn’t do it any other way) the theme twenty seventeen, and then activated it. Everything worked perfect! I then went in to the plugins and deactivated all successfully after successfully updating two plugins I wasn’t able before. I then went, with all plugins deactivated, and changed the theme back to ColorMag… Things aren’t working right again with the ColorMag theme.

    Any plugins that look like ColorMag (see my site), that will work properly?

    You may need to check with Theme dev if there is any compatibility issue. The theme used i.e. colormag is developed by themegrill and they have their own support forum from where you can take help.
