Unable to deactivate

    When I want tot deactivate the plugin, I get message: “There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
    In the settings I disabled the protection, but still, when I check the upload folder, I get a message “The requested URL was not found on this server.”
    My goal was to protect media from being directly downloaded, but this plugin does not do that the way I thought. So I want to remove the plugin.

    Solution found: renamed the plugin folder on the server. Then wordpress was able to delete te plugin.

    Confirmed there is a critical error on de-activation of this plugin — worth looking into!
