    Hello,

I lost access to an email account and was forced to reset my Google Site Kit account. When I go to set up the SiteKit, I get this message above the sign in button.

“Your site may not be ready for Site Kit

Looks like you may be using a caching plugin which could interfere with setup. Please deactivate any caching plugins before setting up Site Kit. You may reactivate them once setup has been completed.”

I have deleted every single plugin I have, and this still doesn’t work. When I sign in, I get a message that says “checking requirements failed”

    How can I fix this?

Thanks for reaching out and sharing details of what you’re encountering. In other cases users encountered the “Your site may not be ready for Site Kit” notice as a result of hosting related features or browser extensions. If you’d like to share your Site Health information privately using this form I’d be happy to check your setup and see if I spot anything unusual. Alternatively you can check does the same occur from a Chrome browser incognito window.

In addition to the above please share if you’re attempting Site Kit setup using a Google Workspace email (formerly G Suite). From testing with such emails it’s possible to encounter the “checking requirements failed” message in cases where users don’t have the required Google Service permissions.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
