Unable to create new categories

    I enter all the information for a new category, and when I click “Add Category”, it clears all the text I typed, but it doesn’t add the category.
    Am I doing something wrong?

    Ok I figured it out. I had to type www. in the address to log in to the admin panel.

    I had the same problem, more specifically, you have to add the www in the General Tab under Options where it has:
    WordPress address (URL):
    Blog address (URL):

    I am having the problem of new categories not showing. I have checked the URLs and they both have www in the Options tab.

    I also did logout and login … this didnot solve the problem

    I will continue to search the forums, but will be glad to read about another thing to try.
