Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable

  • Hi there.

    I always get this error message whenever I try to upload a photo to my new blog. Does anyone know why? Had nothing but problems from day 1, all I want to do is write an article and p[ost a photo, please help ??

    Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    PS) I can’t go to settings/misc as its not on this version.
