    Hi,
    I would like to connect an Instagram business profile, for which I have to connect via Facebook. Until now, there was no problem, I connected with my FB account, and then I choose the page I wanted to display the Instagram feed.
    Process : Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed > “Connect an Instagram account” button > Connect to Facebook with my personal account > Choose among FB pages I manage and which are linked to Instagram > Instagram Access Token is set.

    But today,I’ve got to display the feed of an Instagram business profile whose Facebook page is a “new Page version” (https://about.fb.com/news/2021/01/introducing-the-new-page-experience/). In this new kind of pages, I have to switch profile to page profile. But when I click on the “Connect an Instagram account” button in Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed, I have to switch profile to my personal profile and don’t have the new type page in the list of pages I can connect (which I can manage and are associated with Instagram-.

    So, my question is how to connect Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed and Instagram with “new” Facebook Page ?

    Hi @c-tomoe,

    Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. In this case, as long as your personal profile has a role on the Facebook page you don’t need to switch to your page profile. I’d suggest checking that you have a role for your personal profile and confirming that there is a page connected to the Instagram account at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=profile when you are in the page profile.

    ?If this doesn’t work we will need some more detailed information to troubleshoot this further. In that case, please send us a support request using the form on our website here, including the System Info. To obtain this information go to:

    1- WordPress DashBoard > Facebook Feed > click on the “Help” button in the upper right corner of the page. This takes you to our Support page.
    ?2- Scroll down to the System Info section on the Support page. Click the Copy button on the right-hand side of the System Info title.

    We ask you to use our form as the System Info contains other website information and the Access Token for your connection which we do not suggest posting here.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I HAVE TO switch to page profile although I don’t want to… Doing so, I’m unable to generate an access token. As I understood, it’s linked to new Facebook Pages roles, which are a lot less clear than before.
    I will try something else before asking to your support.

    Thank you for your response. In this case, I’d suggest reaching out to support and provide a screen recording of the process if possible so we can have a better understanding of the issue and can determine if the problem occurs when your switch profiles.
