• I’ve used Postman SMTP for years. Lately been getting a lot of emails from people saying the digital product we send out isn’t arriving. Looking at the logs, many are sent, but around 100 12 hours ago had “Unable to connect via TLS”. How can I resolve this issue to prevent it from happening in the future?

Also, is there a quick way to resend all that didn’t go through? I went through and manually sent 50 until I hit page 25 which I couldn’t resend further.

    Thanks and regards,
    Patrick

    Hi @patjk,

We’re you ever able to resolve this? I’ve had a similar issue on only one (of many) sites using Postman SMTP so can’t quite tell yet if it has something to do with Postman or the SMTP server, etc.

If you were able to resolve it (and willing/able to share), what helped?

Thanks for posting to get the conversation started! ??

Hi @calebweeks, not yet. It randomly happens and then goes away. It has worked the last few days but noticed in the past it has gone out, which causes all sorts of issues for me. Awaiting to hear back from support. Will you let you know if I resolve it otherwise, please do the same.
    Cheers!

Thanks, @patjk, for your reply! Ours was cleared up by our hosts (firewall) and we haven’t had any trouble since. In my experience with Postman SMTP, the culprit is often external, so I look to the plugins “Send a Test Email” Session Transcripts (Step 3 in the test email dialogue) and especially the Connectivity Test to understand the error, but I tend to actually find the solution outside of the plugin. Anyhow, thanks again for sharing from your experience as well! It all helps! Onward! ??
