Unable to connect (Unexpected ‘)’)

Do you have a “)” in your password? A quick fix would be to change it so that no “(” or “$” are in your password.

I did a bit of research and updated the code to be compatible with these special characters, but it will be a few days before it is released.

I thought about such a problem as well. The current password contains exclusivly small/capital letters and numbers.

I’ve released a new version of Postie that attempts to address this issue. Please let me know if you are still having issues after upgrading.

I installed the newest version of Postie. The error message slightly changed but the problem still persists.

How about your email address? Any special characters?

yes. It has a period.

I wouldn’t say it has something special ([email protected]).

You might check with one.com to see if they can see anything on their side.

I wrote to one.com and they said I should use a password which uses letters only. For some reason this works… They did not say anything specific about this problem. Maybe they changed something internally but they won’t tell. ??
