Unable to connect to site

  • I have had two days of having problems connecting to my site nobodyspoodle.com. Today I can’t connect at all – i don’t know what version of wordpress I have because I can’t connect to site.

    My two other wordpress sites are loading properly, but not this one.

    I am getting a lot of spam mail – 68,700 approx and have been trying to find a way of deleting them but couldn’t find a way – what shall I do ? As I have no access to my site now !

    this is the message I get

    The server at https://www.nobodyspoodle.com is taking too long to respond.

    The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

  • The site must be attacked by malware which might be running the scripts in the background due to which the site is loading slow or having the memory problem.

    So the best solution will be downloading the site and setting up in the local and check the malware or any malicious code which is causing the spam and again reuploading the site in the server.

    You should try checking the plugins folder first and renaming or moving existing plugins.

    Thanks – how to I get rid of all my 68,700 pending comments – I can’t see a way of doing a bulk action – accept marking them one by one which will take me months !
