I’d add recently removed my SSL cert to my website and in so doing some functions and links were lost.

I have been trying in vain to connect to Jetpack, every time I click “Connect Jetpack”, I am redirected to wordpress.com from by Dashboard, after I click the “Select Free” plan option it returns me to my Dashboard without having connected.

Not sure where to begin to check what’s wrong. Appreciate some help. Thanks!

    Hi @sgplayfinder!

First, could you check the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) on your dashboard’s Settings -> General page? Do they have a http prefix now?

Second, do you have a caching plugin or service on your site? If so, you’ll need to clear the cache for your website. It may be a link at the top of your dashboard, or maybe in a plugin setting, or on the dashboard’s main page.

After the site’s cache is cleared, disable and then completely delete the Jetpack plugin on your Plugins page.

Then reinstall Jetpack, and attempt to connect again.

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @lschuyler,

Yes! it’s resolved after I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it.
    Thank you.
