Unable to connect to database, only on one server

    Here’s what I got for you today:

    I have my main server (WP 3.2.1 + MySQL) where WP is all configured (Network is all set up and was functional). It used to be functionnal & all was good.

    However, due to DNS issues imposed by IT techs on strike, I’ve been forced to create a new temporary WP server.

    This new server was quickly set up: copy and paste the config files from my main server to the temporary one, change the hostname line, and kick it on.

    Now, my temporary server is doing just fine, but I get HTTP 500 on my main server.
    I double checked the config files, everything seemed fine.
    The database access written in the files are valid (the other server uses them), and they work when used to connect directly to mySQL.

    Do any one of you have any clue on what may be causing this?
