    Hello,

I’m encountering the following message whenever I attempt to access the file manager:

    “Unable to connect to backend.
    Access denied.
    HTTP error 403″

    Screenshot: https://ibb.co/mBPwW9k

This issue is occurring across multiple websites I manage, which are hosted on different servers.

It’s perplexing because this error has appeared suddenly across multiple websites without any changes made from my end.

I’ve attempted to resolve this by reinstalling the plugin and checking for other updates, but unfortunately, the issue persists.

The current version I’m using is 5.2.2.

    Thank you in advance.

    Giannis

    I opened a case at https://advancedfilemanager.com/contact/

I suggest everyone else does as well. I did hear from them.

I got an email that they’ll work on it. In the meantime, I have switched to another plugin, maybe temporarily, maybe for good.

    Hello,

I’m still encountering the same issue across all of my websites. The error happens on wp-admin, preventing me from accessing any files on my websites.

Yes, I can verify that the problem has been resolved, on my end at least. I will need a day or two to test the new fixed version of the plugin further and I will come back for an update, in order to also mark the topic as closed.

    Thank you!

I did a quick check on one of our websites and it lookes like the problem is resolved. Many thanks!

Looks like the issue is fixed. Unfortunately, the delay was not acceptable for some of my clients and I have switched to another plugin for those.

    Hello once more,

It appears that the issue has been resolved.

I extensively tested the plugin in a couple of WordPress websites.

Everything seems to be functioning properly now.

I am closing the support topic and marking it as resolved.

    Thank you for the update.

    Take care.
