    Hi there!

I see that there is a communication error when Jetpack tried to connect with your site. There are a couple of solutions I’d like you to try out.

    – Deactivate temporarily all your plugins and check if the problem gets fixes that way. If it works, then reactivate each plugin one-by-one to find out which one is causing problems.

    – Check for any security product or firewall enabled that may block the communication. If when they’re disable Jetpack gets connected, we have pinpointed the source of the issue.

    – Update your PHP version. Your hosting provider should be able to do that for you. We also have a guide to follow here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-update-your-php-version/

    – Try is to increase the memory available to WordPress: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/

If all of them don’t work, can you check your error logs to see what exactly is going wrong? Your host can help you find them if you need help. Please don’t send them in here directly, we’ll let you know how to send them through.

Let me know what you turn up!

I tried all the above processes. It didn’t work. I checked for errors. No errors found.

    Thanks for checking on that!
Upon running more tests on your site, I just found out that your xmlrpc file isn’t loading publicly – it throws an Authentication Required form.

That could be the reason why you’re having troubles. Can you set the xmlrpc file as publicly accessible? This way Jetpack will be able to establish a communication with your site.

Let me know how you get on. Thanks ??

Yeah, it is set to public and still the same issue.

    Hey there!
It looks like the xmlrpc file is still not visible publicly. When I manage to overcome the Authorisation box, I get the notification you can see in the screenshot linked below:
    Screen Shot

I have also noticed that your PHP version is still pretty old; as said, you may want to update it at its last version as it should be helpful to solve the issue.

Let me know how you get on with those. Thanks!

This is what I see from my end, after the authentification.

Thanks for the screenshot! I still can see some connections errors; there’s still something on your server’s end that’s blocking some connections Jetpack needs in order to work correctly.

Could you please contact your web host and ask them to make sure that the connections to and from *.wordpress.com are whitelisted?? In terms of IP ranges, the following ranges need to be fully whitelisted:

    185.64.140.0/22
    2a04:fa80::/29

Also, all of the IPs listed here:
    https://whois.arin.net/rest/org/AUTOM-93/nets.

Also, you may want to temporarily disable that xmlrpc file authentication step to see how it goes without it.

Let me know how you get on.
